Location from pokemon-horizons by
The Mediterranean-inflected southern region where Liko was raised — home of Cabo Poco, Mesagoza, Levincia, and the Area Zero crater.
Paldea is bright, agricultural, and ancient. Terastallization originated here — the region's bedrock is rich with the Tera crystal that feeds the Pokémon's type-shifting — and the culture has built its festivals, its food, and its battle style around that phenomenon. For Liko it is home; for Roy it is the first foreign region he has ever set foot in; for the Explorers it is hunting ground.
A wide, sun-warm region of olive-gold plains, coastal cliffs, sandstone cities, lemon groves, and a massive central crater. Landscape shifts from Mediterranean coastline in the south to rugged snowy mountains in the north, with the Naranja Academy campus overlooking it all.
