For Liko it is home in a way no other place is — it is where she lived before Indigo Academy, where Diana showed her how to read ship-weather, where her mother's workshop still sits locked up against the cliff. The villagers know who the Explorers are and will lie convincingly to protect Liko when she returns.
A coastal Paldean town built onto cliff terraces above a half-moon harbor. Whitewashed adobe houses with terracotta roofs; narrow cobbled streets; a small market square; a lighthouse at the headland. Pokémon like Wingull, Pawmi, and Lechonk wander the streets freely. Diana's workshop sits at the edge of the village, a stone cottage with wind-chimes made of old Poké Ball shells.
