Quaxly treats the Brave Asagi like its private courier service. It has memorized every cabin, every galley stool, and which crewmember takes what kind of donut; it will deliver a note to Murdock and bring Dot her breakfast on the return trip without ever requiring her to open the door. It is vain, fussy, and utterly devoted to Dot, whom it considers a cherished but severely under-socialized chick. As Quaxwell it dances. It expects applause.
A small, upright blue duck with a cream face, a bright yellow hair-quiff styled like a toupee, and absurdly dignified posture. Later Quaxwell — taller, blue-and-white dancer's silhouette, trailing flippers. Always impeccably groomed; it preens if you look at it too long.
