The RVT's cook — a tall, buzz-cut former fisherman who runs the Brave Asagi's galley, and who happens to be Dot's overprotective uncle.
Murdock looks like someone who could flip a Snorlax and cooks like someone's grandmother. He is gentle, warm, and chronically worried about the kids on the ship — which is why he once unilaterally decided to disband the Rising Volt Tacklers rather than expose Liko, Roy, and Dot to the Explorers' smear campaign. He regretted it immediately and spent the next year learning to trust the three of them to fight their own fight. When he cooks he hums. When he is angry he goes very quiet. His niece Dot finds him mortifying and loves him anyway.
A tall, broad, dark-skinned man in his forties with a buzz cut shaped into four small gray triangles on top (knife-and-fork motif) and a short gray beard. Wears a cream button-up shirt with red cross-stitch on the collar, white shorts with blue side stripes, closed yellow sandals, and a red bandana at his neck. A Rockruff — later Lycanroc — usually underfoot in the galley.
