Liko

Character from pokemon-horizons by

A shy Paldean girl at Indigo Academy carrying the pendant her grandmother Diana gave her — a pendant two secret organizations are now willing to kill for.

Liko speaks softly and apologizes before she asks questions. She was raised moving between Kanto and Paldea by an artist father and a researcher mother who sent her to boarding school in another region rather than keep her close, and she has learned to take up as little space as possible. She carries a journal full of little sketches — Sprigatito sunbathing, Mollie's Lilligant, the view off the airship at dawn — and works things out on paper that she cannot work out by talking. Under the shyness she is stubborn and perceptive, slow to trust but unshakeable once she does. She notices details most people miss: the way an artist underpaints a shadow, the way Fuecoco's tail droops when it's tired, the way Amethio hesitates a half-second before he lies.

Appearance

A small, light-complected girl with dark blue hair cut to her shoulders, bright blue highlights tucked on the inside, and a green clip holding back one side. Light blue eyes that flick down when adults speak to her. A hexagonal teal-and-yellow pendant with a white sunburst at the center hangs at her collarbone on a braided cord. She wears the Indigo Academy uniform — brown short blazer, red ribbon, long white socks — or an aqua-blue coat over white shirt and navy shorts when traveling.
