The original head of the Explorers — a ruthless Exceed chairman who co-founded the organization with Lucius a hundred years ago and survived by using Laquium to extend his own life.
Gibeon is stoic, strategic, and transactional. He was a companion of Lucius and Rystal a century ago; he went insane with Laquium, caused the rampage that killed Lucius, survived a crevasse-fall that should have ended him, and has been waiting for another shot at Terapagos and Laqua ever since. He is a poor judge of character — he trusted Spinel, who betrayed him — and a worse parent and grandparent. At the end of his life, after a lifetime of refusing to listen, he finally listens to Amethio and Lucius and lets go.
