Friede's partner — a Pikachu in a tiny captain's hat who taught himself to fly on Volt Tackle, absorbs lightning from the sky, and Terastallizes Flying when it counts.
Captain Pikachu — 'Cap' to the crew — carries himself like the actual commanding officer of the Brave Asagi, because as far as he is concerned he is. He has the Lightning Rod ability and will bodily intercept any stray bolt of electricity near his trainer. He sneezes uncontrollably when someone calls him cute, which distracts him in battle about a third of the time. His dream since he was wild was flight — Friede saved him from a fall using Volt Tackle as a wing, and Cap has never forgotten. When he Terastallizes Flying he becomes, very briefly, exactly what he wanted to be as a child.
A Pikachu with a squared-off tail tip and slightly brighter cheek pouches than average. Wears a miniature version of a captain's peaked cap, slightly oversized, strap under his chin. When he absorbs lightning his fur stands on end and his cheeks spark audibly.
