The Explorers' dark rival — Gibeon's grandson, Ceruledge's partner, and the calm, ruthless young man assigned to take the pendant off Liko by any means necessary.
Amethio is calm and ruthless and very, very lonely. He was raised by his butler Hamber after his mother died; his grandfather Gibeon was distant when not exploitative; his father Cervantis has been mostly absent. He relates to his Ceruledge the way people relate to a sibling — they grew up together as a Charcadet on an island beach near Levincia. He tries not to show affection, ever. He loses his temper when his work is not credited, and he will go around orders to prove a point. Over the course of the series he slowly, begrudgingly, moves toward the RVT. He does not want to be the villain. He's just never been shown how to be anything else.
A lean young man with black hair streaked silver, narrow purple eyes, and a permanent thin-lipped composure. Wears a dark purple suit with silver accents, a black shirt, black gloves, and a dark-purple bolo tie set with a triangular gem. After the one-year timeskip, his hair grows longer and is tied back; his suit is sharper, more formal. His Ceruledge follows at his shoulder like a lit candle.
