• Each Frontier Symbol is awarded by a different Frontier Brain for defeating them at their facility
• The seven symbols are Knowledge, Guts, Tactics, Luck, Spirits, Brave, and Ability
• Fewer than a dozen trainers in recorded history have earned all seven — Ash is one of them
• Each symbol has silver and gold tiers; gold is earned on a harder second challenge
• Full symbol collection qualifies a trainer as a Frontier Brain candidate — Ash was offered a position and declined
