The seven symbols — small engraved medallions awarded by each Frontier Brain, marking a full Battle Frontier clearance and theoretical candidacy for Frontier Brain status.

The Frontier Symbols are the Kanto Battle Frontier's award system — one symbol per Frontier Brain defeated. Earning all seven is historically rare; fewer than a dozen trainers have ever done it. Ash becomes one of them during the Battle Frontier arc. Each symbol is engraved with its associated trait, reflecting what the Frontier Brain was testing — Brandon's Brave Symbol is the hardest to earn and carries the most prestige.

Appearance

Seven small polished-metal medallions, each engraved with its Frontier Brain's specialty: Knowledge (Factory), Guts (Arena), Tactics (Dome), Luck (Pike), Spirits (Palace), Brave (Pyramid), Ability (Tower). Carried in a symbol case similar to a ribbon case. Each symbol has both a silver and gold tier — gold is earned on a second, harder challenge.
