The Blue Orb is the paired artifact to the Red Orb, attuned to Kyogre through millennia of ocean-floor resonance. Its possession mechanic mirrors the Red Orb's exactly — whoever holds it is overtaken by Kyogre's instinct to drown the world, losing their original identity for the duration of the possession. Archie of Team Aqua acquired the Blue Orb and was fully possessed by it during the Seafloor Cavern awakening. Kyogre responded to its call and emerged. Like the Red Orb, the Blue Orb was recovered during the Sootopolis climax and sealed in the Cave of Origin. The Archie who remembers those events afterward is not the Archie who lived them.
A smooth deep-blue crystalline orb the size of a large fist, cool to the touch, faintly pulsing with internal light like a sealed rain shower. Reflects water even in dim light. Bearers report a subtle whispering pressure behind their eyes when holding it directly. Sister artifact to the Red Orb, mirroring it in every way.
