Dome Ace of the Battle Dome — a flamboyant, fairy-winged showman who treats every battle as a stadium performance and who only ever shows up to matches in a cloud of stage smoke.
Tucker does not walk into his arena. He enters on a lift, surrounded by pyrotechnics, usually with a rose between his teeth. His Battle Dome is Hoenn's closest structural analog to an actual Colosseum, and he fills it with thousands of fans. He takes battle as performance art — every attack is choreographed, every move is timed to the music his staff are piping through the speakers. Ash finds Tucker exhausting and endearing in equal measure. Tucker takes Ash seriously, though — he fights a full three-on-three with his ace Salamence and takes the match to the wire before losing. He hands Ash the Tactics Symbol with an operatic bow and then invites the entire traveling party to his post-show party, which May declines and Max attends.
A tall young man with long purple hair in sweeping locks, small purple eyes, and pale skin. Wears a skintight purple vest with a deep V-neck, white trousers, purple ankle boots, and dramatic white fairy wings strapped to his back. Wears a gold Poké Ball-patterned tiara and gold wrist bracelets. Poses constantly, even in sleep.
