Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
A gritty port city with a punk rock gym and a movie studio — where Roxie plays bass loud enough to shake the walls and Pokéstar Studios turns battles into cinema.
Virbank City is divided between two worlds: the working port where Roxie's father captains ships and Roxie herself screams into a microphone, and Pokéstar Studios where Brycen-Man movies are filmed. It's grunge meets Hollywood, authenticity meets performance. Roxie's gym is a rock club. You fight her band members to reach the stage, and the music intensifies with each battle. It's one of the most atmospheric gym experiences in the franchise — you're not just challenging a gym leader, you're crashing a concert.
Industrial port city with a rougher edge than most Unova locations. Smokestacks, docks, and a nightclub that doubles as Roxie's gym. Paint-peeled buildings, band posters on every wall. Pokéstar Studios occupies the other half of the city — soundstages and movie sets contrasting with the port's grit.
