A dense forest where the player first chases Team Plasma after the museum theft — and where Virizion guards the ancient trees from those who'd exploit them.
Pinwheel Forest is the first time BW puts you in genuine pursuit — Team Plasma grunts scatter through the forest after stealing the Dragon Skull from Nacrene Museum, and you hunt them down one by one. It's an action sequence disguised as exploration, and it establishes Team Plasma as a real threat with real operatives. The deeper forest is quieter and more sacred. Virizion, the Grassland Sword of Justice, resides here — a legendary protector drawn to the oldest trees. The forest feels ancient and protected, but also vulnerable to the kind of exploitation Team Plasma (and others) represent.
Thick, multilayered forest with a main path and a deep inner section. Sunlight filters through dense canopy. Fallen logs, mushroom clusters, moss-covered stones. The inner forest is darker, wilder, and home to rare Pokémon. Virizion appears in a hidden grove.
