P2 Laboratory is the smoking gun of Team Plasma's hypocrisy. While Ghetsis preached Pokémon liberation in town squares, his scientists were resurrecting ancient Pokémon and bolting cannons to their backs. The Genesect project — turning a 300-million-year-old predator into a cyborg weapon — was conducted here. N reportedly shut the project down when he discovered it, but the Genesect was already complete. The lab tells the story Team Plasma never wanted public: liberation was always a front. The real agenda was monopoly on power.
Derelict industrial lab on a remote island, accessible only postgame. Rusted equipment, shattered containment tubes, abandoned research notes. The facility is cold and dark — whatever happened here was shut down in a hurry. Plasma insignias are scratched out on some walls, left intact on others.
