Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
A mountain city with a cargo runway carved into its center — where planes take off between buildings and Skyla keeps Unova connected by air.
Mistralton City is defined by its airport — Skyla's family has been flying cargo in and out of this mountain city for generations. The city exists because the runway exists, and the runway exists because someone had to connect the isolated mountain communities to the rest of Unova. It's practical, wind-swept, and perpetually loud with engine noise. The Celestial Tower is visible from the city — a bell tower where trainers lay their Pokémon to rest. The proximity of the airport and the memorial creates an inadvertent metaphor about departures.
City built around a functioning cargo airport — the runway runs through the middle of town. Planes taxi past houses. Wind socks and radar equipment dot the rooftops. Mountain scenery surrounds the city, and the air is thin and crisp at this elevation.
