Liberty Garden

Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak

A small island with a lighthouse, accessible only by boat — where Victini was sealed away to protect it from those who'd exploit the power of guaranteed victory.

Liberty Garden exists for one purpose: to keep Victini safe. The island is small, the lighthouse is the only structure, and the garden is tended by a single caretaker. In the event storyline, Team Plasma discovers Victini's location and attempts to capture it — because a Pokémon that guarantees victory is the ultimate political tool. The island's name is pointed: liberty. Victini is 'free' in the sense that it's been imprisoned to prevent exploitation. The irony mirrors the game's larger themes about what liberation actually means.

Appearance

Tiny island with a single lighthouse and a garden. The lighthouse has a hidden basement where Victini is kept. Flowers bloom regardless of season. The island feels peaceful — deliberately isolated from Unova's mainland conflicts.
