Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
A city built on boardwalks over the ocean — the newest settlement in Unova, where Marlon surfs between houses and the last gym badge waits.
Humilau City is BW2's final gym city and it's gorgeous — a boardwalk settlement where the ocean is the floor. Marlon lives here because the ocean is here, and the city grew up around people who felt the same way. It's relaxed, sun-drenched, and the furthest thing from the frozen horror of the Giant Chasm that awaits after you leave. The contrast is deliberate. Humilau is warmth and peace; the Giant Chasm is cold and dread. The game sends you from paradise to apocalypse.
Wooden boardwalk city built entirely over shallow ocean water. Houses on stilts, bridges between buildings, the ocean visible through the floor everywhere you walk. Tropical plants, bright colors, the constant sound of waves. It feels less like a Pokémon city and more like a fishing village that grew too ambitious.
