Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
A port and mining city built on hard work and harder ground — where Clay runs the economy and reformed Team Plasma members quietly try to make amends.
Driftveil City is where Unova gets its hands dirty. Clay's mines drive the economy, the port ships goods across the region, and the drawbridge controls who gets in. It's a working city — no art galleries, no amusement parks, just labor and commerce. In BW2, Rood and the reformed faction of Team Plasma operate from Driftveil, quietly returning stolen Pokémon and caring for ones that were abandoned. The city becomes a place of quiet penance — a counterpoint to the flashy ideological battles happening elsewhere. Also home to the Pokémon World Tournament, where champions from every region come to compete.
Industrial port city with mine entrances, cargo cranes, and a massive drawbridge connecting it to the mainland. Utilitarian architecture — function over form. The ground is dusty from mining operations. Market stalls sell goods from across Unova.
