Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
A vast desert area in central Unova — sandstorms, buried ruins, and the entrance to Relic Castle where ancient civilizations left their secrets beneath the dunes.
The Desert Resort is Unova's hostile wilderness — a place where the sandstorm never stops and the ruins are slowly being swallowed. It's disorienting by design, and the Pokémon here (Sandile, Sigilyph, Yamask) reflect the ancient civilization buried beneath. The connection between the surface desert and the subterranean Relic Castle creates a vertical exploration space — you walk the sands above, then descend through layers of history below. The desert hides what it's built on.
Wide open desert with perpetual sandstorm. Visibility is limited, sand whips across the screen. Scattered ruins poke through the dunes — columns, walls, carved stone. The entrance to Relic Castle is here, descending into the buried city below. Trainers and wild Pokémon alike struggle against the sand.
