Location from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
The starting city of BW2 — a hilltop town with a lookout point where Nate/Rosa can see all of Unova below them, and where Cheren became the gym leader he was meant to be.
Aspertia City replaces Nuvema Town as the starting location in BW2, and the change is meaningful. Where Nuvema was isolated and coastal, Aspertia is elevated with a view — the new protagonists can literally see the world they're about to enter. Cheren's gym here is the Trainers' School, making the first gym leader also the first teacher. Bianca arrives to deliver starter Pokémon, completing her arc from receiver to giver. The echoes of BW are everywhere — this is a sequel that knows it's a sequel.
Small city on a hill, with a lookout point offering panoramic views of Unova. A Trainers' School doubles as Cheren's gym. Clean, modest, elevated — the kind of place where you can see far but haven't gone anywhere yet.
