The first town past Route 1 — and the place where the player first hears Ghetsis speak, where the seeds of doubt are planted in an entire crowd.

Accumula Town is where the game's real story begins. Ghetsis gives his first speech in the town plaza — a masterful piece of manipulation that makes ordinary trainers question something they've never questioned. The crowd shifts uncomfortably. Some people release their Pokémon on the spot. And after the speech, a strange young man with green hair approaches the player and says he can hear their Pokémon's voice. The town itself is forgettable. What happens in it is not.

Appearance

A modest residential town with a central plaza. Clean streets, brick buildings, a Pokémon Center. Ordinary in every way — which makes the extraordinary speech that happens here feel more invasive.
