The Dark Stone is Zekrom compressed into portable form — a dragon god of ideals waiting for someone who believes in something hard enough to crack it open. N obtains it (or the player does, depending on the version) and brings it to Dragonspiral Tower. The stone doesn't just store Zekrom — it evaluates. It crackles more intensely around people with strong convictions and goes dormant around the indifferent. It chose N because his ideals burned genuinely, even if they were built on lies.
A deep black orb that seems to absorb light around it. Faint blue-white sparks crawl across its surface. Heavier than it looks. The air around it carries a charge — hair stands on end, electronics flicker.
