Character from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
The Deep Black Pokémon — a dragon god of ideals whose lightning shatters complacency, who demands not honesty but conviction from those who would wield its power.
Zekrom is the other half of the original dragon — the embodiment of ideals. Where Reshiram asks 'what is true?', Zekrom asks 'what should be true?' It chose the Hero of Ideals in the ancient war and waits in the Dark Stone for someone whose vision of a better world burns hot enough to match its lightning. In BW (White version), Zekrom awakens for the player. In Black version, it awakens for N. The dragon doesn't judge whether ideals are correct — it judges whether they're held with genuine conviction. N's belief in Pokémon liberation, however misguided, was sincere enough for Zekrom to answer. Its Teravolt ability nullifies defensive abilities, mirroring how ideals disregard what exists in favor of what could exist. Zekrom's lightning is creative destruction — it tears down the present to make room for the future. It is as much a force of change as a living creature.
Massive black dragon with a muscular, armored body and a tail that functions as an electrical generator. Red eyes that glow with fierce intensity. Where Reshiram is elegant, Zekrom is powerful — built like a fortress with wings. Its generator tail crackles with constant blue lightning. Dark, imposing, magnificent.
