Rood

Character from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak

The Sage who chose N — after Team Plasma split, Rood took the true believers and tried to undo the damage Ghetsis had done, one returned Pokémon at a time.

Rood is the conscience of the Seven Sages. When Team Plasma fractured after BW, he led the faction that genuinely believed in Pokémon welfare — the members who followed N's idealism rather than Ghetsis's cynicism. In BW2, he operates from Driftveil City, caring for Pokémon that were stolen or abandoned during Plasma's operations and working to return them to their trainers. He speaks softly, carries enormous guilt, and is doing the slow, unglamorous work of making things right. He's the proof that some of Team Plasma's members were genuine — they were manipulated, not evil.
