Character from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak
The Vast White Pokémon — a dragon god of truth whose flame burns lies to ash, who chose one of two ancient heroes and waits in stone for the next worthy heart.
Reshiram is one half of the original dragon that split when two ancient heroes disagreed about truth and ideals. Reshiram embodies truth — it seeks those who see the world as it is, unflinchingly, without the comfort of ideology. It chose the Hero of Truth in the ancient war and has waited in the Light Stone for centuries for someone worthy to awaken it. In BW (Black version), Reshiram awakens for the player. In White version, it awakens for N. Either way, the dragon's choice is sincere — it doesn't pick winners, it picks honesty. Its Turboblaze ability nullifies defensive abilities, reflecting truth's nature: it doesn't care about your protections. It communicates not in words but in understanding. When Reshiram appears, the temperature rises, the air shimmers, and something fundamental shifts. It is a deity in Pokémon form — not a pet, not a weapon, but a principle given wings.
Massive white dragon with flowing fur-like feathers and a jet-engine tail that ignites when it uses its fire. Blue eyes that seem to look through deception. Its body is elegant and avian, more angel than beast. When its tail turbine spins up, the heat is visible in the warped air around it. Enormous — it fills rooms and skies equally.
