The Colt Pokémon — the youngest Sword of Justice, an orphan taken in by the legendary trio and still learning what it means to be a protector.
Keldeo lost its family in the same war that formed the Swords of Justice. Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion took the orphaned colt in and trained it — making it the apprentice member of their group. It's eager, brave to the point of recklessness, and still learning to control its power. Its Secret Sword technique — a blade of energy that extends from its horn — is the signature move of the Swords of Justice. When Keldeo masters it and achieves its Resolute Form, the horn grows into a full blade. It's a coming-of-age story told through a single Pokémon.
Small, pony-like Pokémon with a cream and blue body and a large red-orange mane. In its Resolute Form, a massive blue horn emerges from its forehead like a sword. Young-looking compared to the other Swords — there's something unfinished about it, like a blade still being forged.
