A wild-hearted dragon trainer raised in the Village of Dragons who climbed from gym leader to Champion of Unova — the youngest in the region's history.
Iris has the energy of a wild Pokémon — she's loud, physical, constantly moving, and says exactly what she thinks. She calls people 'kid' regardless of their age, which is either endearing or infuriating depending on your patience. She grew up in the Village of Dragons and was raised alongside Dragon-type Pokémon, giving her an intuitive bond with them that formal training can't replicate. In BW, she assists Drayden as the Opelucid gym's representative (in White version, she IS the gym leader). By BW2, she's become Champion — a meteoric rise that makes sense when you see her battle. She fights with instinct and joy, treating every match as play rather than war. But beneath the wildness is someone who takes the responsibility of Champion seriously — she's protecting the region, not just holding a title.
Dark skin, enormous purple hair gathered in two round puffs that dwarf her small frame. Large brown eyes full of energy. In BW, she wears a cream and pink outfit suited for climbing and running. In BW2 as Champion, her outfit is more regal — whites and golds — but she still moves like someone who'd rather be swinging from trees.
