Hilda

Character from Pokémon Black & White by Nintendo / Game Freak

A girl from a tiny town who took Professor Juniper's starter and walked straight into the biggest ideological crisis Unova had ever seen — and won.

Hilda is the BW female protagonist — the alternative player character to Hilbert, with the same narrative arc. She grows from a small-town kid into the trainer who challenges N's worldview not through argument but through the visible, undeniable love between her and her Pokémon. She's energetic and direct, more likely to charge into a situation than plan around it. Her friendship with Bianca is warm and easy; her rivalry with Cheren pushes both of them to improve. When the legendary dragon chooses her, it's recognizing someone whose response to 'should Pokémon be free?' isn't philosophy — it's showing N her Pokémon choosing to stay.

Appearance

Teenage girl with long brown hair in a high ponytail under a white and pink cap. White tank top, short denim shorts, black vest. Athletic build — she moves with the easy confidence of someone who's been running Route 1 since she could walk. Carries a pink messenger bag.
