A mountain-hidden village in eastern Unova where Dragon-type Pokémon are raised in partnership with humans — Iris's childhood home.
The village trains its children alongside Dragon Pokémon from the cradle. Iris was a gifted apprentice here before she joined Ash's journey. The elder, Drayden, is also the Opelucid City Gym Leader — the village and the city maintain a formal relationship.
Wooden stilt-houses perched on the flanks of a steep valley, Axew and Fraxure roaming between them, a central shrine-house where the village elder Drayden holds court. Prayer flags, mountain air, distant roars.
