Unova reset the franchise. Its gyms, its Champion, its rotating Tournament Meister — everything designed to feel like a fresh start. Iris's rise from Village of Dragons apprentice to Unova Champion happened here, and Team Plasma's two-part ideological war defined the arc.

Appearance

Great bridges spanning wide rivers, a skyline of skyscrapers (Castelia), a desert canyon to the west, the Village of Dragons tucked into remote eastern highlands. The first region in the series where every Pokémon is new.
