The Foundation is where the Alolan arc's moral complexity lives. Publicly they rescue injured Pokémon; privately, during the SM arc, Lusamine's Ultra Wormhole experiments opened Alola to Ultra Beast invasion. The Foundation continues today, restored and reformed after her breakdown.
