Steven is thoughtful, soft-spoken, and serious about his rocks — he was hunting rare stones in Hoenn long before Mega Evolution was a Kalos invention. He's among the anime's most well-liked Champions, appearing in cross-regional tournaments and the Masters 8 itself. His Metagross Mega-evolves on command.
