The red-haired half of Team Rocket's field agents — a former trainee at Pokémon Tech, former nurse trainee, former beauty-school dropout, perennial runner-up and diva.

Jessie is vanity with a backbone. She has failed at every career a Kanto teenager can try, and she shoulders those failures with operatic drama — but when a rival contest coordinator belittles her, she will outwork everyone in the room to prove herself. She's cruel to James exactly as often as she is tender, which is often. She adores her Pokémon in a bossy, queen-ish way that they seem to enjoy. Her worst trait is envy; her best is a terrible brave stubbornness that has, more than once, pulled the entire trio out of a collapsing mine.

Appearance

Tall, slim, with a magenta-pink sweep of hair that curls forward into a great crescent wave, green eyes, always in a fitted white Team Rocket uniform or whatever costume the day's scheme requires. Carries herself like a stage actress, even in a swamp.
