Character from pokemon-anime by
Ash's Journeys-era partner — a methodical, Pokédex-obsessed boy from Vermilion City whose dream is to catch Mew and who does his thinking in checklists.
Goh speaks in data. He logs every Pokémon he meets, catalogs their habitats, and flirts with scientific rigor in a way that would make Professor Oak proud. He is Ash's opposite — where Ash acts, Goh plans; where Ash bonds, Goh observes. Together they pull each other across the difference. His worst trait is standoffishness — he has been lonely a long time, and he defaults to it. His best is a kind of quiet wonder that comes out when he sees a Pokémon he's never documented before; he lights up like a first-time trainer. His goal is to catch Mew, and he has seen the mythical in person — close enough to commit his whole career to chasing it.
Late-boyhood, with ash-grey hair that spikes over one eye, teal eyes, always in a blue-and-white jacket with a yellow collar and a black satchel. Carries a Rotom Phone everywhere. Posture of a kid who mostly reads indoors and is trying to learn how to climb hills.
