Mount Lanakila

Location from pokemon-alola by

Alola's snow-capped highest peak — home of Kukui's newly-built Alola League stadium, site of the Manalo Conference.

Mount Lanakila was, before Kukui, just a mountain — a home of Alolan Sandshrew and the occasional Absol. It became the Alola League site because Kukui willed it to. The stadium at its summit was his project: the first formal Pokémon League infrastructure Alola has ever had. The Manalo Conference held here was the first regional league tournament Alola has ever run. It was the site of Ash's victory. He stood at its center under snow, Pikachu on his shoulder, and heard Kukui call him Champion. It is also the site of Necrozma's eventual confrontation — the peak itself went dark during Ultra Necrozma's eclipse. Lanakila means 'victorious' in Hawaiian. The series named it accurately.

Appearance

Jagged white peak rising above Ula'ula's northern forests. Permanent snow cap. Glacial ice along the upper slopes. At the summit: a curved open-air stadium of pale stone and blue glass, terraced into the mountain, with a League flag visible from every island on clear days. Icy wind carries the sound of the crowd from sea level.
