The traditional Melemele village of Kahuna Hala — host of the island's annual festival and first grand trial grounds.
Iki Town is older than Hau'oli and looks it. The square's central platform is where Melemele's trainers face Kahuna Hala in grand trial; it is also where the annual Alola Festival takes place, with drumming, dancing, and the Masked Royal's exhibition wrestling match. Kukui grew up here. Hala lives here. Hau visits almost daily. When Ash completes his first grand trial here, he receives an Electrium Z from Hala himself. When Tapu Koko wishes to communicate, Iki Town is where it most often descends. The town is the ceremonial heart of Melemele.
Small open village built around a wooden stage in a central clearing, ringed by traditional tiki-torch posts, Moai-shaped stones, and palm trees. Wooden banners in red, white, and gold. A smell of roasting taro. Hala's home sits at one edge of the square, open to the jungle behind. The stage is the site of both the festival and the grand trial.
