The first-ever Pokémon League tournament held in Alola — Kukui's creation, the site where Ash finally won.
The Alola League, known formally as the Manalo Conference, is the first regional League tournament Alola has ever had. Before Kukui, Alola had only the island challenges — no cumulative tournament, no regional Champion. Kukui lobbied every kahuna, built the stadium himself with foundation money, and invited every qualified trainer in the islands. Ash won it. He defeated Gladion in the final with his Lycanroc after a grinding five-Pokémon match. It is, canonically, the first regional Pokémon League Ash has ever won — twenty years into a franchise that had become defined by his near-misses. The stadium now hosts annual conferences. Kukui remains its organizing Professor. Every Alola League Champion since has started here.
A terraced open-air stadium carved into Mount Lanakila's summit, overlooking the entire Alolan archipelago. Pale stone stands rising from a central circular battlefield. Cold mountain air. League banners snap in wind. A raised platform holds Kukui's commentator box. Every seat is filled. The sky above clear and enormous.
