Character from pokemon-alola by
A Cosmog Lillie secretly raised — the 'pack of stardust' that becomes, over the course of the series, Solgaleo.
Nebby is Lillie's secret. She found the Cosmog as a child, hid it from her mother — who would have used it as a tool to pry Ultra Space open — and has raised it in her bedroom at Aether Paradise and, later, at the Kukuis' cottage. Nebby is timid, skittish, incapable of self-control, and enormously powerful. It teleports randomly. It absorbs energy from its surroundings. Lillie's love for it is total. As it evolves — first into the still, glowing Cosmoem, then into Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon — its stakes grow. It becomes the pivot of the Alola arc. It opens the Ultra Wormhole that rescues Lusamine. It is, briefly, Lillie's mount. It is not just a Pokémon; it is the psychic center of the crisis, and Lillie is the only person who can reach it. When it finally returns to the sky at the Altar of the Sunne, she lets it go. It does not let her go.
Small, purple-black cloud of condensed stardust roughly the size of a soccer ball, with two wide yellow eyes and two short purple nub-arms. Trails faint glitter when it moves. Frightened expression as a default, breaking occasionally into something like delight. Teleports involuntarily when startled, which is often. Later forms: the unmoving jewel-cocoon Cosmoem, then the vast golden leonine Solgaleo.
