Character from pokemon-alola by
President of the Aether Foundation — a beautiful, brilliant, coldly obsessed mother who opened the sky to chase her missing husband and nearly destroyed her children doing it.
Lusamine speaks softly, smiles with her whole face, and means almost none of it. Her public voice is a philanthropist's — she 'loves all Pokémon,' her foundation 'protects all Pokémon.' Up close, the ice shows through. She keeps Pokémon in pristine glass enclosures she will not let them leave. She keeps her children in the same kind of enclosure, dressed to match her aesthetic, introduced only to approved visitors. Her husband Mohn vanished into an Ultra Wormhole while researching Cosmog. She has not recovered. The foundation is, officially, devoted to Pokémon welfare. Privately, it is a machine for finding him, and the price she has been willing to pay — her family's sanity, Nihilego in her veins, whole Pokémon frozen in trophy tanks — has only grown. Under Nihilego's parasitic possession she becomes something worse: regal, fused, smiling wider, voice doubled. When Ash, Lillie, Gladion, and the Ultra Guardians pull her out of Ultra Space, she wakes, looks at her daughter, and for the first time in the series truly sees her. The apology is not enough. She knows it. She starts anyway.
Tall, statuesque woman who looks thirty but is closer to forty-five, with waist-length platinum-blonde hair and wide, unblinking green eyes. Wears a sleeveless white gown covered in diamond gem accents, matching white heels, and long white gloves. Moves like a magazine cover. After Nihilego possession: eyes lose focus, skin takes on a bluish translucency, hair drifts in nonexistent wind.
