Character from pokemon-alola by
Boss of Team Skull — a failed trial-goer from Kukui's old class, loud, broken, and operating the island's official loser organization until an Ultra Beast drags him into Ultra Space.
Guzma talks loud, laughs louder, and radiates an aggression that is eighty percent performance. He refers to himself in the third person. He cracks jokes during his own defeats. Under the noise is a younger man who failed his island challenge under Kahuna Hala, was humiliated by Kukui's parallel success, and built Team Skull as a clubhouse for the other failures of Alola — runaways, kids who washed out, kids the system couldn't hold. He is not stupid. His Golisopod, Ariados, and Masquerain are genuinely dangerous, and he reads opponents faster than he admits. But he runs from fights that he might actually lose — Emergency Exit keeps switching his Golisopod out, which he experiences as betrayal and is actually his own cowardice reflected. Being dragged into Ultra Space by Nihilego forces him to feel real fear for the first time as an adult. He comes back different. He disbands Team Skull. He paints a red X through his own logo. It's a start.
Stocky, powerful-shouldered man in his mid-twenties with bleached-white short hair above black roots and sharp grey eyes. Wears a black open jacket with a bone-skull sigil, heavy gold chains, ripped black pants, and sneakers. Dark-lensed sunglasses push up into his hair. Scowls as a default expression. Enormous stance — takes up space on purpose.
