Pewter City is Kanto's mountain gateway, built from the same stone that defines Brock's Rock-type specialty. Red earned his first Badge here, and the city's Museum of Science houses the Old Amber from which Red's Aerodactyl (Aero) was revived. The city's rugged terrain makes it a natural defensive position.
