Littleroot Town is Hoenn's smallest community and the starting point for the RS arc. Ruby arrived here reluctantly when his family moved from Johto, and Sapphire grew up here as Professor Birch's daughter. Their fateful reunion — and the 80-day challenge it sparked — launched both their journeys across Hoenn. Professor Birch's laboratory, focused on habitat research, reflects the town's intimate connection to Hoenn's natural environment.
