Cerise Island exists exclusively in the Pokémon Adventures manga — an unmapped island west of Cinnabar that the Elite Four chose as their base for the Yellow arc's climax. Lance arranged seven Kanto Gym badges around the island's perimeter beneath rock spires, with the Earth Badge at the central volcano, creating a massive badge energy amplifier. This configuration channeled enough power to fuel his genocidal weapon. The final battle saw Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, and the reformed Gym Leaders (Koga, Sabrina, Lt. Surge, Brock, Misty, Erika, Blaine) converging on the island to stop the Elite Four. Yellow defeated Lance at the volcano's peak while Lugia raged in the skies above. The island is one of the manga's most iconic original locations.
