The GS Ball is the Masked Man's ultimate tool — a specially crafted Poké Ball designed to capture Celebi, the time-traveling Pokémon that standard balls cannot contain. Pryce spent decades developing and perfecting the GS Ball as part of his obsessive quest to travel back in time and save his lost Lapras. At the GSC arc's climax, Pryce successfully captured Celebi using the GS Ball at the Ilex Forest shrine, but Gold's Pibu destroyed the ball with an electric attack, freeing Celebi and trapping Pryce in the temporal void.
