Cerulean City's fierce Water-type Gym Leader — a tomboyish battler who traded her Gyarados to Red and fights with aggressive tactical precision that belies her youthful appearance.
Misty is aggressive, competitive, and fiercely protective of Cerulean City and its waters. She's one of Red's earliest allies, trading him her Gyarados (which he named Gyara) after recognizing his potential. During the Yellow arc, she joined the united Gym Leaders on Cerise Island. Misty is a straight-shooter who says exactly what she thinks, and her Water-type expertise makes her a formidable opponent in any terrain with moisture. She's hinted to have romantic feelings toward Red.
