Character from Pokémon Adventures by Hidenori Kusaka & Satoshi Yamamoto
The most powerful artificial Pokémon ever created — cloned from Mew using Blaine's cells, Mewtwo evolved from savage destroyer to thoughtful protector, eventually learning to speak and achieving Mega Evolution.
Mewtwo is Pokémon Adventures' most complex non-human character. Created by Blaine as a Team Rocket project using Mew's DNA supplemented with Blaine's own cells, Mewtwo was born savage — the 'Monster of Cerulean City' that terrorized the region. Red captured it with the Master Ball, but Mewtwo's journey was only beginning. Over time, Mewtwo developed intelligence, compassion, and even telepathic speech — but only to those it trusts. It discovered it was cloned from Mew's eyelash, giving it existential roots to explore. The genetic bond with Blaine was both a lifeline and a death sentence, as Mewtwo's cells slowly killed its creator until Entei's intervention. Mewtwo eventually became the protector of Pokémon Village and Blaine's willing partner, capable of both Mega Mewtwo X and Y forms. In the FRLG arc, it fought Giovanni's Deoxys in one of the manga's most spectacular battles.
Tall, humanoid Pokémon with a long purple tail, powerful legs, and a connecting tube from its head to its spine. Cold, intelligent eyes. In Mega form, either sleeker (Y) or more muscular (X). Presence warps the air with psychic energy.
