Olivine City's gentle Steel-type Gym Leader — soft-spoken and compassionate, she tends to the Olivine Lighthouse's sick Ampharos and commands her Steelix with quiet authority.
Jasmine is the quietest of Johto's Gym Leaders but far from the weakest. Her Steel-type specialty gives her Pokémon enormous defensive staying power, and her Steelix is one of the most formidable Pokémon among the Johto leaders. She's deeply compassionate, spending time caring for a sick Ampharos at the Olivine Lighthouse. During the GSC arc, she participated in the Gym Leader tournament and contributed to the defense against the Masked Man's forces.
