Groudon

Character from Pokémon Adventures by Hidenori Kusaka & Satoshi Yamamoto

The Continent Pokémon — an ancient titan that expands landmass through devastating drought and seismic activity, awakened by Team Magma's Red Orb to catastrophic effect.

Groudon is one of Hoenn's primordial forces — a Ground-type titan capable of expanding continents through drought and tectonic manipulation. Awakened by Maxie using the Red Orb at the Seafloor Cavern, Groudon's emergence triggered devastating environmental damage across Hoenn: droughts, earthquakes, and volcanic activity that threatened to reshape the entire region. Its battle with Kyogre at Sootopolis City was an extinction-level event that only Rayquaza could stop. Groudon represents the raw, destructive power of the earth itself.
