Archie is a true believer — his vision of a world dominated by oceans isn't a power grab but a genuine (if insane) environmental ideology. He commands Team Aqua with charismatic intensity, seeking the Blue Orb to control Kyogre and flood the continents. During the RS arc, he succeeded in awakening Kyogre at the Seafloor Cavern, triggering a catastrophic expansion of the sea that nearly drowned Hoenn. His rivalry with Maxie (Team Magma) creates a dangerous three-way conflict that the Pokédex holders must navigate. Archie's single-minded devotion to the ocean makes him terrifying — he would genuinely let civilization drown.
