An ancient forest that grants psychic powers to rare children born near it — the source of both Yellow's healing gifts and Lance's destructive ones.
Viridian Forest is the arc's mythological heart. It grants powers — telepathy, healing, telekinesis, emotional communion with Pokémon — to rare children born in its vicinity. Yellow and Lance are both Viridian-blessed, which makes the forest responsible for both the arc's greatest hope and its greatest threat. The forest is where young Yellow was attacked by a wild Dratini and saved by Red — the origin of their connection and the reason Yellow eventually agrees to search for him. It's also where Miles operates, using the forest's dense cover to ambush Yellow early in her journey. Viridian Forest doesn't take sides. It produces healers and destroyers with equal indifference.
